Brand New Tunes Under the August Moon

This Wednesday August 20, the VZ Valley Boys will play a two hour set of all-original tunes from 7-9 PM at A Rhapsody In Bloom, 3709 6th Ave., Tacoma.   Admission is free, all ages are welcome and donations for the band are requested.    Coffee, tea, desserts and more are available for purchase.

A trio of new songs will premiere at this show, including a glimpse into Sparky's colorful past.

Weather permitting, the show will be held outdoors.   In the event of sogginess, things will be moved indoors.

    New Photos, New Songs

We've added some new photos from Woofstock.  Go to our Media Page to access them. Woofstock was an amazing event.  Good food, great weather, dogs all ready to howl with us in the right spots, and 200 cheerleaders.  Yep, that's what we said.

In the past couple of weeks, we've played Up On The Hill Where They Do The Boogie, Woofstock, and Clark's Creek Park in Puyallup.   Jette was accompanied by a quartet of musicians from Finland who are amazing players.   They even joined us to sing "Squirrel Heads and Gravy."

Some new original tunes are being unveiled at our next show, to be held at A Rhapsody In Bloom on August 20.  Check the Calendar Page for addresses and times.

People keep asking, "Why do you guys call him Sparky?"    If we told you that, we might blow his cover.

    In The News

It seems the VZ Valley Boys are in the newspaper today.   In a couple of them in fact:

    Tacoma Weekly

    Tri-City Herald

    Seattle PI

    And not the funny papers!
