Has Spring Sprung Yet?The calendar says May is almost here, but it doesn't look or feel like it to us. At least not here. Al's travels took him to Merlefest in North Carolina last week, and the warm weather (even when it was raining) left him feeling dressed out of season. Thanks to all of you who made it to the P&G in Duvall on April 19. It was so full people were stuck outside trying to get in. Its always fun to play for a raucous crowd. We'll be looking forward to getting back together on May 10 at Forza Coffee on Pearl Street. Hope to see you there!
The VZVBs Twin bill for the VZVBsThis Saturday, April 19, will be a VZ Valley Boys doubleheader. Our first show will be at the Kent Senior Center, 600 East Smith Street, from 4-5 PM. We will be there as part of their monthly bluegrass jam. So if you are a picker or a plucker, or a plinker or a thumper, bring your instrument along and take part in one of the friendliest jams around. Later that evening, from 7-9 PM, we will return to the P&G Speakeasy Cafe in Duvall. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is cozy and the crowd is fun. We had a blast there last time we played and are excited to return once more. All ages are welcome. The address is 15614 Main St in beautiful downtown Duvall. Come a little early and check out the way cool bookstore across the street. If you see Sparky in there, tell him he's lost his way once again and point across the street. See you in Kent, or Duvall, or maybe both! The VZVBs |
