This Saturday night, November 10, we'll be at the Mandolin Cafe from 8-10 PM. We're planning for a "Saturday night kind of crowd" and hope some of our good friends will join us there.
New Songs
- Sparky's been working on a new tune about an old pair of shoes. Its still fairly new, but should be ready to come out of beta. Bring your old shoes to shuffle along with Sparky.
- Uncle Phil's put a couple of his swing-type tunes into the rotation as of late. Salesman Swing is a talking blues story about a salesman. Contrary to rumor, not a banjo salesman. There's also an instrumental tune called Buck N Sally. Be careful how you say that... This tune's got more bounce than a rusty tractor on an unincorporated county road.
- Al's got a new lying and cheating song called One Man's Dream (is Another Man's Nightmare. Be sure and bring your tissues, as it will tear your heart out. And all the guys join in on a semi a cappella song called Out of This Town.
We'll be recording this one for a possible live CD.
So bring your rowdy friends, and let's howl at the moon this Saturday night!
